About audio essences
A flower essence is traditionally made by floating blossoms in spring water in sunlight — the water holds the energetic imprint of the plant, which is then preserved and taken as drops. This is how Bach made his original remedies, and it remains the foundation of the system.
An audio essence works on the same principle, but sound is the carrier instead of water. Just as water can hold an energetic imprint, so can an audio recording. The sound you hear — a gentle stream — is simply the vessel. The essence itself is what travels through it.
By listening, you give your permission to receive. The essence comes to you in the way and amount that's right for you in that moment. Nothing is forced. You don't need to do anything except listen quietly and remain open.
The actual sound of the recording is not what matters — it is a doorway, not the destination. You can listen through headphones or speakers. There is no particular technique required.
About these essences
The audio essences on this site were made by Tonya Brash, a homeopath and essence practitioner based in the Scottish Highlands. She has been making channelled essences since 2002, working in collaboration with nature intelligence and devic guidance — the intelligence that holds the energetic blueprint for each plant in the natural world.
The audio files on this site have been programmed to function as essences here. Please don't copy them — a copy won't carry what this does.
Going further
The Bach remedies offered here are a well-established starting point. If you're drawn to explore further — or if what you're navigating feels like it needs something more personally chosen — Tonya also works with her own essences, made from Scottish sacred sites, trees, rocks, and landscapes.
Her distance service, Personal Energy Support, involves no live session: you share what you're navigating, she works with it, and you receive a personally chosen remedy combination. Find out more at tonyabrash.com.
